More Details

Before Bussmann introduced the Low-Peak KRP-C-SP line, the Hi-Cap KRP-C was the company's time-delay Class L fuse, and it's still installed in many switchboards built between the 1970s and the 1990s. Bussmann no longer makes it and suggests the KRP-C-2500SP as the replacement. Some facilities want to replace like with like, whether to keep maintenance records simple or because a coordination study names the original part, and a surplus Hi-Cap is the direct answer. It has the same standardized Class L dimensions and 2500-amp, 600-volt rating, but carries the older design's 200 kA interrupting rating, so confirm it suits the fault current available at the equipment.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
