At 400 amps, the A50QS400-4 is the largest of the three A50QS ratings we stock, sized for larger drive input rectifiers, DC bus protection and high-current rectifier legs. Like the rest of Mersen's Form 101 family, it's built to open in a fraction of a cycle and to hold peak let-through current and I²t below what semiconductor devices can survive. Its 500-volt rating applies to both AC and DC, with 200 kA AC and 100 kA DC interrupting capacity, which suits DC drive and battery-inverter applications. The bolted-blade (-4) terminals fasten directly to the equipment's fuse mounting. Replace with the exact part number the equipment manufacturer specifies.
