More Details

The A25X series is Mersen's 250-volt Form 101 high-speed fuse, used to protect diodes, SCRs and transistors in low-voltage drives, battery chargers, power supplies and DC motor controls. At 40 amps, the A25X40-4 protects individual rectifier legs or small drive input circuits. High-speed fuses are chosen by exact part number because their I²t and peak let-through values are matched to the semiconductors they protect; a general-purpose fuse of the same amperage won't open fast enough to save a power device. The -4 suffix identifies the terminal style. It carries a 100 kA interrupting rating at 250 VAC. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
