More Details

Small Super-Lag renewable fuses like the RES-6 protect control circuits, small motors and control transformers in older 600-volt equipment. The Super-Lag element provides more time delay than a standard one-time fuse, so a 6-amp fuse can carry the inrush of a small motor or transformer without nuisance opening. The renewable ferrule cartridge can be opened after interruption and fitted with a replacement link. Bussmann has discontinued the RES line, so surplus stock is often the only way to match an existing installation part for part. As with all Class H fuses, the interrupting rating is 10 kA, and the fuse fits standard 30A-size 600V ferrule clips. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
