More Details

Ten amps is a common rating for control power transformers and small motors in older 600-volt starters, which keeps the RES-10 in demand even though Bussmann has discontinued the Super-Lag renewable line. Its time-lag element holds through transformer magnetizing inrush and motor starts that would open a standard one-time fuse of the same rating. The ferrule cartridge is renewable: after it opens, the internal link can be replaced and the body reused. Class H fuses carry a 10 kA interrupting rating and fit standard 30A-size 600V ferrule clips, but not Class R rejection clips. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
