More Details

The REN series is the 250-volt half of Bussmann's discontinued Super-Lag renewable line; its 600-volt counterpart is the RES. The REN-150 fits the 101–200A knife-blade clip size used in 240V safety switches and older panelboards, and many of those are still in service on light-industrial and agricultural sites. Its Super-Lag element gives more time delay than a one-time Class H fuse, so it tolerates motor starting current without having to be oversized. When the fuse opens, the cartridge is renewed with a replacement link instead of discarded. Keep the limits in mind: Class H fuses are rated only 10 kA and won't fit Class R rejection clips.
