About the EH family. Type EH, EHB, EHC and EHD are all F-frame molded case breakers sharing one interrupting class — 18 kAIC at 240 V, 14 kAIC at 480 V, 10 kAIC at 250 V DC. The sub-line letter denotes the panelboard series the breaker was built for rather than a different rating, so check the panel before substituting one for another.

Westinghouse designed the EH frame, Eaton inherited it, and the line outlasted both badges because the panels it fits are still standing. A 20-amp 2-pole unit like this one bolts into Eaton Pow-R-Line C and Westinghouse F-frame panelboards and works at 480 volts AC or 250 volts DC, which puts it squarely in commercial and industrial service rather than anything residential. The usual load is two-pole equipment circuits on a 480-volt system. What ESP sells is a reconditioned device rather than a used one: inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, with a one-year operational guarantee.
