A 1-pole FY device rated 20A at 277V AC, the FY14020A is specified for Square D I-Line panelboards. ESP inspects and tests each unit to ESP Product Standards before it is listed. Buying reconditioned keeps an existing board in service without the cost, lead time and outage window that replacing the interior would demand. Interrupting rating is the specification most often missed. Available fault current at the board has to sit below the device rating, and substituting a lower-rated part into a position engineered for a higher one quietly defeats the original design. The trailing A is the I-Line phase the device is factory configured for, so the interior position it is going into has to be a Phase A position.
