This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

FB is the standard-interrupting frame; HFB is the Mark 75 high-interrupting one. Both are 600V F-frame breakers at the same ampere ratings and they look alike, but the Mark 75 clears substantially more fault current. Where a short-circuit study calls for the higher figure, the catalog number has to be verified rather than the amperage. Terminals were an ordering option on this generation — contact ESP to confirm whether lugs are fitted.

The Westinghouse F frame is obsolete; Eaton's Series C FD is the successor and requires a retrofit.

The letter at the front is what to check first. FB is standard interrupting; HFB is the Mark 75 high-interrupting version at the same rating, and they are not interchangeable where a study specifies the higher figure. AB De-ion arc quenching is why these still test clean decades after installation. Eaton's Series C FD3125 is the modern equivalent and needs a retrofit rather than a swap. Reconditioned, tested, one-year operational guarantee.
