More Details

The KTN-R-600 is the 250-volt version of Bussmann's Limitron fast-acting Class RK1 fuse, sized for 600A fused switches on 208Y/120V and 240V systems. It's physically shorter than the 600V KTS-R and fits 250V fuse clips, and the Class R rejection notches on its blades keep lower-rated Class H and K fuses out of R-rejection switches. With no time-delay element, it suits feeders to non-motor loads and applications where fast clearing protects downstream equipment, such as busway or breakers with limited withstand ratings. Along with its 200 kA AC interrupting rating, it is rated 250 VDC at 100 kA, which is useful for battery and telecom distribution.
