More Details

This is the earlier Bussmann LPS-RK-300, made before the SP series replaced it. It's a 300-amp, 600-volt Low-Peak dual-element Class RK1 fuse with knife-blade terminals for 400A-size Class R clips. The dual-element design carries motor starting current while its current-limiting element sharply reduces fault let-through, a combination that suits motor feeders, MCC mains and branch circuits. Bussmann's current equivalent is the LPS-RK-300SP, with identical dimensions. Some facilities want the original number to match an installed set; others simply want an economical spare. Check the interrupting rating on the fuse label against your available fault current before installing. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
