More Details

The Limitron KTS-R is Bussmann's fast-acting Class RK1 fuse for 600-volt circuits. It has no time-delay element, unlike dual-element fuses, so it's chosen for non-motor loads such as feeders to lighting and heating panels, or as a current-limiting device protecting equipment that can't tolerate much let-through energy. Class R rejection notches in the knife blades let it fit Class R fuse clips, which reject older Class H and K fuses, and it still fits non-rejection clips. At 600 amps it uses the largest Class R knife-blade body, the one found in 600A fused disconnects. The 200 kA interrupting rating covers nearly every commercial service.
