The coil voltage matters: related catalog numbers carry different coils (1021 is 120V, 1027 is 24V, 6139 is 120/240V). The plain KAL36125 has no shunt trip and is not a substitute where one is required.

The Square D KAL361251037 is a three-pole K-frame molded case circuit breaker rated 125 amperes at 600V AC, with a standard interrupting capacity of 25 kA at 480V and thermal-magnetic LI protection. Feed-thru connection with line and load side lug terminals accepting 4 AWG through 350 MCM conductors.

This unit is supplied new surplus in its original box. On legacy K-frame product, where most available inventory is reconditioned or pulled from service, unused stock in original packaging is uncommon.

The 1037 suffix denotes a factory-installed shunt trip with a 277/480V coil. A shunt trip allows the breaker to be opened remotely from a control circuit rather than by hand at the panel, which is how emergency power-off systems, fire alarm interlocks, ground fault relays, and remote shutdown schemes are implemented. Shunt trips are installed at the factory into a dedicated pole cavity and are not straightforward to add in the field, so a buyer specifying one cannot substitute a plain KAL36125.
