Specified for 480Y/277V AC distribution, the 90A BQD390 carries 3-pole thermal-magnetic protection in the BQD (Sentron) case. The bolt-on mounting makes it a fixture of commercial panelboards where a maintenance crew needs a breaker that stays put. Inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, one-year operational guarantee. Buying reconditioned keeps an existing panelboard in service without the cost and lead time of replacing the enclosure. Specifying by catalog number matters more here than it does with residential product. Frame, pole count, interrupting rating and terminal arrangement all have to agree with the existing bus and enclosure, and a device that is electrically equivalent on paper will not always land on the bus of a panelboard built for a different line.
