Read the three digits after TFJ. They carry the frame class, the pole count and the voltage: this is 236 — 225-ampere frame, 3 poles, 600V. The 224, 226 and 236 variants share the same case and the same footprint, so the amperage tells nothing about which one are holding. Trip is non-interchangeable, so the 175-ampere rating is fixed and cannot be changed by swapping an element.

GE F225-frame breakers are discontinued by the manufacturer; the retrofit path is the Tmax XT series, which does not mount in an F225 opening. ESP stocks tested reconditioned TFJ units across the voltage, pole and amperage range.
