About the EH family. Type EH, EHB, EHC and EHD are all F-frame molded case breakers sharing one interrupting class — 18 kAIC at 240 V, 14 kAIC at 480 V, 10 kAIC at 250 V DC. The sub-line letter denotes the panelboard series the breaker was built for rather than a different rating, so check the panel before substituting one for another.

More Details

At 15 amps and 3 poles this Type EH device covers three-phase motor starters, control panels and small packaged equipment. The F-frame EH family is a 480-volt commercial line, not a residential one: the breakers bolt into Westinghouse and carry eighteen kiloamperes of interrupting capacity at 240 volts, fourteen at 480. Each unit is inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, including a trip test. Westinghouse built this frame for decades and Eaton carried it forward, which is why panels from very different eras still take the same part, and why matching the existing installation matters more here than the catalog year on the label. Photographs of the actual unit and its nameplate are available on request.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
