More Details

The GE SELA36AT0150 is a three-pole Spectra RMS™ current-limiting molded case circuit breaker on the SE150 frame, rated 150 amperes maximum at 600V AC. Unlike thermal-magnetic breakers, Spectra RMS uses a digital, solid-state, true-RMS sensing trip system that samples the waveform to determine the actual RMS value of both sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal currents — accurate protection on circuits with harmonic content from drives, rectifiers, and electronic loads. Trip functions are LSI (long-time, short-time, instantaneous), with adjustable instantaneous and tracking short-time standard.

Interrupting capacity is 100 kA at 240V, 65 kA at 480V, and 25 kA at 600V under UL, with IEC ratings of 100 kA at 220–240V, 65 kA at 380–415V, and 40 kA at 500V. The current-limiting design reduces let-through energy under fault conditions, which supports series ratings with downstream devices.

The continuous ampere rating is set by the front-mounted SRPE150A rating plug, which is field-installable and interchangeable — the same frame can be re-rated later rather than replaced. Lug data: TCAL18, #12–3/0 Cu or Al, 60/75°C wire. Bolt-on mounting, 4.12" wide, HACR rated, UL Listed and CE marked.
