More Details

Midget fuses like the Edison MEN1 handle supplementary protection inside control panels: control transformer secondaries, solenoid valves, pilot lights and small instrumentation loads. The MEN series is time-delay, so a 1-amp fuse can ride through the inrush of a transformer or coil without nuisance opening. The standard 13/32 by 1-1/2 inch midget body fits common midget fuse holders and blocks. Edison fuses are now produced by Eaton's Bussmann division. Midget fuses are supplementary protectors rather than branch-circuit fuses, so use them where the equipment design calls for them. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.

See the manufacturer's data sheet for MEN1 specifications.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
