More Details

The A4J200 packs Class J current limitation into a body much smaller than a comparable Class RK1 fuse, which is why it's common in compact fused disconnects, control panels and OEM equipment. At 200 amps, it protects feeders, transformer primaries and panel mains. As a fast-acting fuse, it has no intentional time delay; for motor circuits, Mersen's AJT time-delay Class J is the usual pairing. Class J dimensions prevent lower-rated fuses from being substituted into the holder. The A4J200 is rated 600 VAC at 200 kA and 300 VDC at 100 kA, so it also suits some DC applications. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
