A 3-pole MAL device for 600V AC service, the MAL36700 is specified for Square D panelboards and switchboards. ESP inspects and tests each unit to ESP Product Standards before it is listed. ESP holds this unit in its Spokane warehouse and can confirm condition, trip rating and accessory fitment before an order is placed, which at this size is worth doing rather than assuming. Interrupting rating matters more here than anywhere else in a distribution system. Available fault current near the service can be tens of thousands of amperes, and a device rated below it will not clear a bolted fault.
