Three K-frame mountings, none interchangeable. KAL is unit mount with lugs at both ends and sits mid-run; KA26225 and KAP26225 are the other two at the same rating. Ordering by amperage alone gives you a one-in-three chance. The high-interrupting version is KH26225 at 35 kA / 480V against this tier's 25 kA — same case, and invisible once the cover is on.

The Square D K-frame is legacy product, crossed to the PowerPacT J-Frame in current catalogs, which requires a panel change rather than a swap. ESP stocks tested reconditioned K-frame units in all three mounting variants and both interrupting tiers.

Two hundred twenty-five amperes across two poles at 600 volts, feed-thru with lugs at both ends. Two-pole K-frames at this rating are scarce - most stock is three-pole, so a corner-grounded delta service or a DC application has thin options. Forty-two kiloamperes at 240 volts, twenty-five at 480, ten on 250-volt DC.
