Rated 15A at 277V AC, the FY14015B carries 1-pole protection in the FY line. Fitment governs the choice: the device seats in Square D I-Line panelboards and nowhere else, so the catalog number rather than the ampere rating is what has to match. Each unit carries a one-year operational guarantee, which means the reconditioned route carries much the same practical risk as new stock. Residential and light-commercial load centers of this vintage are still everywhere in service, and the device is almost always what fails first. Replacing it keeps the board, the feeders and the panel schedule exactly as built. The trailing B is the I-Line phase the device is factory configured for, so the interior position it is going into has to be a Phase B position.
