Square D's F-frame line has been superseded by PowerPact, so new stock is scarce and costly. ESP holds tested reconditioned F-frame breakers for existing I-Line panelboards and switchboards.

More Details

Rated 20A at 480V AC, the FA14020A carries 1-pole protection on the F-frame platform that Square D built the I-Line system around. The Visi-Trip indicator shows at a glance which device opened, which matters in a switchboard where a maintenance electrician is working through a lineup under time pressure. ESP holds tested stock in Spokane and ships nationwide, which shortens the wait when a panel schedule leaves no room to substitute. On a 1-pole or 2-pole I-Line device the trailing letters identify which phase stabs the breaker lands on, so A has to match the position available in the panelboard interior. Interrupting rating is the specification most often missed on a replacement. Available fault current at the board has to sit below the device rating, and on older services that number may have moved since the original installation if the utility upsized its transformer.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
