This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

Westinghouse shipped the LB frame as three parts — frame, trip unit and terminals — and the trip unit is interchangeable. The catalog number states the trip rating, but on a surplus unit the element can have been swapped. Read the trip unit on receipt. The frame-only version of this family is LB3400F, a different catalog number with no trip fitted.

The Westinghouse LB frame is obsolete. Eaton's replacement is the JD3 series, which requires a retrofit rather than a swap. ESP stocks tested reconditioned LB-frame units for legacy Westinghouse panelboards and switchboards still in service.

The LB frame runs to 400 amperes, so a 150-amp unit sits low in the range and inherits the frame's withstand rather than a rating matched to its trip. That is useful where fault current is high and the load is modest. Westinghouse shipped these as frame, trip unit and terminals, so the element and the case have separate histories on a surplus breaker. The label states 150 amperes; the element should confirm it. Eaton's JD3150 replaces it and requires a retrofit rather than a swap. Reconditioned, one-year operational guarantee.
