Two things decide whether this breaker belongs in a given panel: the 20 amp rating, set by the conductor and the load, and the ten-kiloampere interrupting rating, set by the available fault current at the bus. Type BAB is a single interrupting class throughout, so there is no higher-rated variant to step up to within the line. Normal service at this rating is small three-phase branch circuits, motor or packaged-equipment feeds. Bolt-on to Eaton Pow-R-Line panelboards, reconditioned and individually tested rather than pulled and resold untested, and covered by ESP's one-year operational guarantee. Photographs of the actual unit and its handle markings are available on request.
