Anything that changes those — a different pole count, a plug-on body in a bolt-on panelboard, a conductor outside the terminal range — makes the part wrong however closely the catalog number matches. The rating suits three-phase rooftop units and pumps. Each unit is tested before shipment and covered by the one-year operational guarantee. Where the panel schedule has gone missing, the catalog number on the breaker face is the better record. Deep positions on the common BAB ratings mean ESP can fill a panel-wide replacement in one go.
