At 15 amps, the MEN15 is one of the higher ratings in Edison's time-delay midget line, sized for small motors, heaters, power supplies and other equipment loads inside control panels and machinery. The time-delay characteristic lets it carry motor and transformer inrush without opening, while still protecting against sustained overloads and short circuits. It uses the standard 13/32 by 1-1/2 inch midget body and fits common midget fuse holders and DIN-rail blocks. Midget fuses are supplementary protectors for equipment, not branch-circuit fuses. Edison is now part of Eaton's Bussmann line. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
