More Details

Fractional ratings like 17.5 amps exist so motor branch circuits can be fused close to the motor's full-load current, giving better overload protection than rounding up to 20 amps. The Edison ECSR17.5 is a 600-volt Class RK5 dual-element fuse built for that job. Its time-delay element carries motor starting current, while the current-limiting element opens quickly on short circuits. The ferrule body fits 30A-size Class R rejection clips as well as older non-rejection holders. Edison fuses are now produced by Eaton's Bussmann division, and odd sizes like this one are seldom stocked by general distributors. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.

See the manufacturer's data sheet for ECSR17.5 specifications.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
