The LPS-RK-600SP is one of the most widely specified fuses in North American industrial plants: a Low-Peak, dual-element, time-delay Class RK1 fuse for 600A switches at up to 600 volts. The dual-element design dedicates one element to overloads and another to short circuits, so the fuse rides through motor inrush yet limits fault current sharply. That makes it a common choice for motor branch circuits and MCC feeders, and Low-Peak fuses coordinate selectively with each other at a 2:1 ampere ratio. It carries a 300 kA AC interrupting rating and 300 VDC capability, and it fits both Class R rejection clips and older non-rejection clips, a frequent upgrade path from Class H and K5 fuses in the same switch.
