More Details

The LPN-RK-600SP is the 250-volt version of Bussmann's Low-Peak Class RK1 fuse and the standard choice for 600A switches on 208Y/120V and 240V services. Its dual-element construction carries motor starting current while its current-limiting design sharply reduces peak let-through on faults. That combination, plus the 2:1 ampere selectivity ratio between Low-Peak fuses, is why engineers use it for service mains, feeders and motor circuits alike. It carries a 300 kA AC interrupting rating and a 250 VDC rating at 100 kA, useful for battery and UPS circuits. Class R rejection blades keep lower-rated fuses out of the switch.
