The JKS-90 fills the 90-amp slot in Bussmann's Limitron fast-acting Class J line, fitting the 61–100A Class J holder. Class J fuses are prized for their small footprint and high current limitation, which is why they appear in control panels, OEM machinery and compact disconnects. As a fast-acting fuse, the JKS-90 is best suited to feeders, heaters, transformer primaries and other non-motor loads; for motor circuits, the time-delay LPJ is the usual choice in the same holder. The interrupting rating is 200 kA at 600 VAC. Its interrupting capacity makes it suitable even on high-fault-current industrial services. Every fuse we ship is inspected and tested first.
