This is a circuit breaker, not a load center. The CH390 is a ninety-amp three-pole plug-on breaker that mounts in an Eaton Type CH load center and occupies three three-quarter-inch spaces.

More Details

Ninety amps across three poles puts the CH390 at the upper end of what the Type CH plug-on line handles, and the usual job is a subfeed to another panel or a large packaged unit. The frame is physically bigger than the small three-pole ratings and the lugs take correspondingly heavier conductors, so the panel needs the space and the gutter needs the bending room. It is worth saying plainly that this is a circuit breaker, not a load center. Each unit is tested on all three poles before returning to stock.
