This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

This is an I-Line plug-in breaker, not a bolt-on. It lands on the I-Line bus stabs in a Square D I-Line panelboard or switchboard. The unit-mount version at this rating is LAL36300 — same frame, same 300 A rating, lugs at both ends instead of stabs, and not interchangeable in the panel. Check which one the gear takes.

The Square D L-frame is legacy product, replaced in current catalogs by the PowerPacT LJ series, which does not retrofit an L-frame opening. ESP stocks tested reconditioned L-frame units for I-Line gear still in service.

I-Line is the reason these stay in service. The plug-on bus connection means a 300-amp device comes out and goes back in without unbolting a busbar, and Square D held the interface steady for four decades. The trap is the sibling. LAL36300 is the unit-mount version at the same rating, one letter away and physically incompatible. Both are in circulation and both look like L-frames on a shelf. The magnetic element is adjustable, which matters wherever motor inrush and fault current sit close together. The PowerPacT LJ series succeeds the L-frame and does not retrofit the opening.
