The Square D KAL362501616 is a three-pole K-frame molded case circuit breaker rated 250 amperes at 600V AC and 250V DC, supplied with factory-installed accessories and wiring leads as designated by the 1616 catalog suffix. Interrupting capacity is 42 kA at 240V, 25 kA at 480V, 22 kA at 600V, and 10 kA at 250V DC.

Protection is thermal-magnetic with a fixed thermal element and an adjustable instantaneous magnetic trip settable from 1250 to 2500 amperes, allowing coordination with downstream devices rather than operation at a factory-fixed pickup. The unit ships with AL250KA lugs installed, rated Cu/Al for #4 AWG through 350 kcmil at 250 lb-in — most sellers of this frame supply the breaker bare. HACR rated, 40°C, UL Listed under Issue No. 186 (File E10027) with CSA and CE approvals. Suitable for single-phase applications using any two poles.
