Three K-frame mountings, none interchangeable. KAL is unit mount with lugs at both ends and sits mid-run; KA36150 and KAP36150 are the other two at the same rating. Ordering by amperage alone gives you a one-in-three chance. The high-interrupting version is KH36150 at 35 kA / 480V against this tier's 25 kA — same case, and invisible once the cover is on.

The Square D K-frame is legacy product, crossed to the PowerPacT J-Frame in current catalogs, which requires a panel change rather than a swap. ESP stocks tested reconditioned K-frame units in all three mounting variants and both interrupting tiers.

More Details

One hundred fifty amperes, three poles, 600 volts, feed-thru with lugs at both ends - what the trade calls lug-to-lug. That is the whole difference from the KA36150 beside it, which plugs onto I-Line bus stabs. Same frame, same rating, same interrupting capacity, and a breaker that physically cannot be installed if order the wrong one. Twenty-five kiloamperes at 480 volts, ten on 250-volt DC.
