This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

The tier prefix is the specification, not the amperage. Siemens built the E frame in four interrupting classes: ED clears 18 kA at 480 volts, HED clears 42 kA at 480 and 100 kA at 240, HHED sits above that and CED is current-limiting. All of them are the same case at the same ampere rating and mount identically, so a coordination study that specifies the higher figure is not satisfied by the cheaper part. Check the letters before the ED.

Siemens continues the ED-frame Sentron line in current production, so cross-references are straightforward, but legacy ITE-branded units remain the exact fit for older panelboards. ESP stocks tested reconditioned ITE and Siemens E-frame breakers across all four interrupting tiers.

More Details

Twenty amperes, single pole, 120/240 volts, on the ITE EB frame. NEB is the standard-interrupting tier; HEB is the high one. Both mount the same way in the same legacy ITE panelboards, and the letter is the only thing that distinguishes them.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
