ITE breakers have been out of production for decades. The LM frame was the 800-ampere class in the ITE molded case line and was later absorbed into the Siemens catalog. The LM frame sat at the top of ITE's molded case range before Siemens absorbed the line, and 800 amperes is the frame's full rating rather than a trip element inside a larger case. That makes it a straightforward device to specify: the number on the label is the number it holds. What it is not is easy to replace. Siemens moved the 800-amp position through several frame generations after acquiring ITE, and none of them bolt into an LM opening. Where the panel stays, the breaker has to match. Reconditioned and tested, one-year operational guarantee.
