This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

This is a 400-ampere trip in an 800-ampere LM frame. The case is the same physical size as the LM3B800, so it occupies the same panel space and uses the same mounting, but it will not carry more than 400 A. Order by trip rating, not frame.

ITE breakers have been out of production for decades. ESP stocks tested reconditioned ITE units for legacy commercial and industrial panels, backed by a one-year operational guarantee.

A 400-amp trip in an 800-amp frame is a deliberate choice rather than an oddity. It buys withstand capability above what the load requires, which is what a coordination study sometimes calls for and what a smaller frame cannot deliver. The practical consequence is that this breaker takes the same panel space as an 800-amp LM3B800 and looks nearly identical on the shelf. Confirm the trip element, not the case, when matching a replacement. ITE stopped building the LM frame decades ago and no current Siemens product fits the opening.
