This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

This is a 400-ampere trip in ITE's 400-ampere JL frame. The case is the same size across the range, so a JL3B125 and a JL3B400 are physically interchangeable and rated very differently. The trip element is what carries the rating — read it rather than the case.

ITE breakers have been out of production for decades. Siemens absorbed the line and has no drop-in successor for the JL frame. ESP stocks tested reconditioned ITE units for legacy commercial and industrial panels, backed by a one-year operational guarantee.

The JL frame runs to 400 amperes and ITE built the whole range on one case. That is convenient in a stockroom and a hazard in a panel, because a 400-amp unit and a 400-amp unit look identical from the front. Trip elements are interchangeable, so on a surplus breaker the case and the element have separate histories. Read the element. Siemens absorbed the ITE line and nothing currently manufactured fits a JL opening. Where the panel stays, the breaker has to match. Reconditioned, one-year operational guarantee.
