This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

Two things this catalog number does not tell you. The F000 suffix means frame, so the ampere rating comes from whichever interchangeable element is fitted rather than from the case. And THJK is the Hi-Break variant of the J600 line — a materially higher interrupting rating than the plain TJK at the same frame size, which is the reason this part is specified. This unit is a bare frame with line-side lugs; specify the trip unit need.

GE has announced end of life for the J600 thermal-magnetic line. Hi-Break frames are the harder half of the range to find. ESP stocks tested reconditioned J600 frames and complete breakers.

More Details

Hi-Break is the part of this catalog number that carries the value. GE built the J600 line in two interrupting classes on the same frame, and THJK is the high one. On a service where available fault current rules out the standard TJK, this is the part that goes in. The F000 suffix says the rest. This is a frame, and the ampere rating belongs to whichever element is fitted inside it. That was deliberate: GE sold the frame once and let the rating change as loads changed. GE has put the thermal-magnetic J600 line into end of life, and Hi-Break frames are the scarcer half of what remains. Reconditioned, tested, one-year operational guarantee.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?
