This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

This device provides no overload protection. A motor circuit protector supplies instantaneous short-circuit protection only and is designed to be used as part of a combination motor controller, with a starter and overload relay handling the running overload function. It is a UL Recognized Component rather than a UL Listed branch-circuit breaker, and it must not be substituted for one. The magnetic pickup is adjustable and should be set to suit the motor it protects.

Eaton continues the HMCP line in current production.

More Details

Fifteen amperes of motor, forty-five to one hundred fifty amperes of adjustable magnetic pickup, sized for a NEMA size 0 starter. Non-aluminum line and load lugs, which matters where the installation is copper throughout. This is a drop-in replacement for the legacy MCP015E0C, so a motor control center being maintained rather than replaced can take it directly. Instantaneous only - the starter's overload relay handles running overload.
