The Westinghouse FA series has been out of production for years. ESP stocks tested reconditioned FA-frame breakers for legacy panelboards and switchboards.

This FA2015 provides 15 amperes of 2-pole protection on 600V AC systems. A bimetal thermal element handles sustained overload while a magnetic element clears bolted faults, and the trip-free mechanism opens the contacts under fault regardless of where the handle is held. Designed for panelboards and switchboards. Buying reconditioned keeps an existing board in service without the cost, lead time and shutdown window that replacing the interior would demand. Interrupting rating is the reason this catalog number exists rather than a cheaper equivalent. The available fault current at the board has to sit below the device rating, and substituting a standard-rated breaker into a position that was engineered for a high-interrupting one defeats the original design.
