This unit is sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

Original manufacture, individually tested. This is an original Federal Pacific breaker — the part the panel was built around — inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, individually tested to confirm it trips before it ships, and backed by a one-year operational guarantee.

Read the digits after the frame letters. Federal Pacific put the voltage class and the pole count into the catalog number on the NJL frame: the second digit is the voltage and the third is the number of poles. ESP confirms both from the nameplate before shipping, because a two-pole and a three-pole at 400 amperes are different parts that look alike.

The Federal Pacific NJL frame is out of production with no modern drop-in equivalent and no third-party replacement. ESP stocks tested originals.

More Details

Four hundred amperes on the Federal Pacific NJL frame - the largest Federal Pacific breaker ESP stocks. The NJL is a commercial frame with no new-manufacture equivalent of any kind, which makes a tested original the only way to fill the position when one fails. ESP confirms the voltage class and pole count from the nameplate before shipping. One-year operational guarantee.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?

In-stock orders placed before 12pm PST usually ship the same business day via UPS, with tracking provided.
