CHH is the high-interrupting line. The second H denotes a higher interrupting rating than the equivalent Type CH or CHB device. Confirm the exact figure from the nameplate before specifying against a fault study; a standard CH or CHB breaker is not a substitute.

More Details

This unit's value comes from scarcity rather than size. The CHH line is the high-interrupting member of the Type CH family, built for panelboards where the calculated fault current rules out a standard ten-kiloampere device. Few were installed relative to the standard line, fewer still come back to the surplus market, and the current price for a new one runs past fourteen hundred dollars. At one hundred amps and three poles this is a subfeed or a main. It has been tested on all three poles and inspected to ESP Product Standards, and the interrupting rating should be read off the nameplate and recorded before it goes into a panel schedule.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?
