Sold reconditioned, inspected and tested to ESP Product Standards, and guaranteed to operate normally for one year from the date of sale.

Why VH costs more. The VH suffix denotes high interrupting capacity: 22,000 amperes rather than the 10,000 of a standard QO/QOB. It is specified where the available fault current at the panelboard exceeds what a standard device can safely interrupt. A standard breaker is not a substitute, and Square D does not offer factory accessories on VH units.

More Details

Available fault current is what decides between this breaker and an ordinary QOB120. Where a panelboard sits close to a large service transformer, the calculated fault current at the bus can pass ten thousand amperes, and every branch device in that panel has to be rated to interrupt it. The VH line answers that at twenty-two thousand amperes in the same physical envelope, so no panel modification is involved — the difference is entirely internal. Each is tested for trip function and inspected to ESP Product Standards before it goes back on the shelf.

What is "surplus new"?

Surplus new means the item has never been installed or put into service. It may not arrive in its original packaging, but it has never been used.

What does "reconditioned" mean?

Reconditioned items have been inspected, cleaned, and tested to confirm they operate to the manufacturer's original specifications. Every reconditioned item we sell carries a one-year operational guarantee.

How fast will my order ship?
