Anything that changes those — a different pole count, a plug-on body in a bolt-on panelboard, a conductor outside the terminal range — makes the part wrong however closely the catalog number matches. The rating suits small 240-volt equipment and pumps. Each unit is tested before shipment and covered by the one-year operational guarantee. Where the panel schedule has gone missing, the catalog number on the breaker face is the better record. Obsolete ITE parts are the core of what ESP carries, and stock on the older ratings moves without warning.
