The S01 suffix denotes a factory-installed 120 VAC shunt trip, allowing the breaker to be opened remotely from a control circuit — used for emergency power-off, equipment interlocks, and remote shutdown of small three-phase loads. The shunt is installed at the factory and cannot be added in the field, so the plain B320 is not a substitute where one is required. Confirm the coil voltage suits the control circuit.

The Siemens / ITE B32000S01 is a three-pole BL-frame bolt-on circuit breaker rated 20 amperes at 120/240 volts AC, 60 Hz, on a 125-ampere frame with a 10 kA interrupting rating at 240 VAC. Protection is thermal-magnetic with long-time and instantaneous functions, fixed thermal and fixed magnetic, common trip, and a non-interchangeable trip unit.

The S01 suffix denotes a factory-installed 120 VAC shunt trip. A shunt trip opens the breaker remotely from a control circuit rather than by hand at the panel — the mechanism behind emergency power-off systems, equipment interlocks, and remote shutdown schemes. On the BL line the shunt is installed at the factory and cannot be retrofitted, so a specification calling for one cannot be met with a plain B320.

The breaker is HACR rated for use with heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, reverse feed capable, and calibrated at 40°C. Load lug terminals accept 14–10 AWG copper or 12–10 AWG aluminum. Listed to UL 489 and CSA C22.2 No. 5. Bolt-on mounting for Siemens P-series panelboards.
